Specialist coaching for a specialist position. Our expert goalkeeper coaches, drawing on their own experiences as current or former goalkeepers, are passionate about advancing goalkeeping performance across all ages, experience levels, and levels of the game.
We offer collaborative coaching solutions for clubs and teams, providing expert one-to-one or small group training specifically designed to deliver the attributes your team and coaches need from your goalkeeper. We also offer bespoke coaching for individual goalkeepers wanting to improve targeted areas of their game or to elevate their overall goalkeeping performance.

Our philosophy and approach
We recognise there can be value in specific, repetitive drills, but we believe in creating match-realistic scenarios in our goalkeeper training and coaching. We know that peak matchday performance comes from practice environments that replicate the intensity and unpredictability of matches.
Our approach and session design provide hundreds of opportunities for goalkeepers to make decisions, try new techniques, make and learn from mistakes in every session. All so they can perform decisively when it matters most.
We go beyond the physical and tactical, offering dedicated support for the vital mental and psychological aspects of goalkeeping to build truly well-rounded athletes.
Delivery formats
We tailor our goalkeeper coaching to fit your specific needs and preferences. Our versatile formats include:
- Goalkeeper Clinics, small group coaching, wih high coach-to-goalkeeper ratios, with each session focusing on technical detail on specific goalkeeping attrbutes
- Group goalkeeper coaching, ideal for clubs with multiple teams or groups of goalkeepers wanting specialised training sessions.
- Integrated parallel goalkeeper coaching, delivered alongside your team's main training session, focusing on your keepers for all, or specific parts, of the practice.
- Intensive 1-2-1 goalkeeper coaching, personalised and focused on refining technical detail and accelerating your development.
- Accessible mindset coaching and mentoring through phone, video, and messaging.
Our goalkeeper coaching can be combined with our video recording, performance analysis, social media management, and customised player training and nutrition plans.

Our services are tailored to you. While we develop bespoke packages to meet the precise needs of our partners, the following rate card offers a general indication of our pricing structure. Rates exclude and travel, venue, and equipment-related costs.
Goalkeeper Clinics and small group goalkeeper coaching
Experience game-realistic training alongside other goalkeepers. Our small group sessions focus on creating unpredictable scenarios that replicate matchday pressures, while also allowing for peer-to-peer learning and engagement in a supportive setting.

One-to-one goalkeeper coaching
Our one-to-one sessions are designed around your specific needs, focusing on technical development and refinement to elevate every aspect of your game and help you achieve your personal performance goals.

Goalkeeper mentoring and mindset coaching
Actionable support for football's toughest role. We help you overcome barriers, increase your confidence, and maximise your performance with weekly video calls and continuous instant messaging.

MotionLab Goalkeeper Clinics
Our Goalkeeper Clinics are now open for bookings! Our Goalkeeper Clinic sessions are designed for goalkeepers aged 6 to 14 who are looking to elevate their game through structured, focused, elite-level training and coaching.
- Day: Tuesdays
- Time: 4.30pm to 5.30pm
- Venue: Coventry Sphinx FC, Sphinx Drive, CV3 1WA (3G Surface)
- Coaches: Alfie (Bedworth Utd U18, U19, U21 goalkeeper, FA qualified) and Chris (Bedworth United First Team Goalkeeper Coach / UEFA C License, FA National Goalkeeping Course).
We are currently looking to expand our Goalkeeper Clinics to more venues and locations accross Coventry and Warwickshire.
The sessions
Every session covers fundamental movements and techniques, each week focuses on a specific pillar of goalkeeping: protect the goal, protect the area and the space, and in possession support.
All sessions are recorded using Veo and GoPro cameras, and we use footage from the sessions to support our in-session observations.
Pricing
Pricing is £40 per month, which covers all Goalkeeper Clinic sessions at all venues and an end-of-month personal development report helping you, us, and your goalkeeper proactively monitor and accelerate their development.
Pay as you go pricing is £15 per session, subject to availability. Payment accepted by card or cash at the session, or by payment link in advance. Contact us using the form below for more information.
